Introduction

Interestingly, Nike initially marketed the first version of the Infinity Run line with the promise of injury prevention (1).

Nike claimed that runners would have fewer injuries in running shoes with plenty of cushioning, a wide base, a rocker midsole, and a stable heel. Coincidentally, these are all features of the Nike React Infinity Run line.

Cushioning
