Nike React Infinity Run Flyknit 2 vs. Nike ZoomX Invincible Run (2022)
These two models are undoubtedly among the most awaited running shoes in 2021! However, while both feature high-stack cushioning and Flyknit upper and are intended for daily training, they don’t offer the same level of support.
The Infinity Run is a stability shoe designed to prevent overpronation. As such, it’s more stable, but its cushioning is firmer and less bouncy. Unless you’re looking exclusively for a stability model, the Nike ZoomX Invincible Run is clearly superior.
Side-by-side comparison
Comfortable cushioning with more bounce than what we usually find on support shoes
Wide and stable platform
Sturdy model
Reasonable weight
The TPU support clip is noticeable under the foot (however, this is often the case with stability shoes)
Soft and snappy cushioning
Lightweight shoe considering the high and wide stack
A really fun model for daily training
The thick collar can irritate the ankle
Expensive model
Not the sleekest Nike shoe
