  • Outsole

The outsole of the Brooks PureFlow 6 is made of Blown Rubber. It’s a relatively hard material that is very durable and, therefore, well protected against abrasions. It also provides a good traction on urban terrains.

  • Midsole

Just like the Brooks Ghost 10, the PureFlow 6 features a BioMoGo DNA LT midsole. It’s a mix of two materials: environment-friendly BioMoGo foam and BioMoGo foam. The goal of this midsole is to provide a great and flexible cushioning. According to Brooks, BioMoGo DNA LT is 10% lighter than the other type of midsole traditionally used in Brooks shoes.

We also note Omega Flex Grooves strategically positioned in different places to nudge the runner towards the most natural running gait.

The shoe also has a Rounded Heel to wrap the foot in a natural way and enhance support. Finally, Brooks added the Dynamic Flex Grid technology in the forefoot part of the shoe to improve traction, especially during the toe off phase of the gait cycle.

  • Shoe upper

The upper is seamless, which means that the structure is built in one single piece without the use of stitching or overlays. This provides great flexibility and support that really give a sock-like feeling to the shoe. We also enjoy the soft material of the inner that prevents skin irritations.
